The League of Conservation Voters – a unit of over 60 organizers, communication professionals, fundraisers, and policy advocates – received voluntary recognition in August 2019. Unit staff from across the country negotiated a contract in the midst of a pandemic and officially signed their first collective bargaining agreement on August 7, 2020. Their contract is built on the foundation of racial justice and equity, worker’s rights, and a sustainable environmental movement as they work to secure a livable planet.
