Rashod D. Ollison

Rashod D. Ollison is a native of Little Rock, Arkansas. For six years, he was the pop music critic at The Baltimore Sun. His features, columns and criticism have also appeared in the Dallas Morning News, the Philadelphia InquirerEssence and Uptown magazines and on PBS. Since his layoff from The Sun, Rashod has become a regular contributor to thegrio.com, theroot.com and popeater.com, the pop culture hub of AOL. He is the new entertainment writer for the Virginian-Pilot of Norfolk and has begun a regular music column for the newly redesigned Jet magazine.
