Elizabeth Malby worked as a photojournalist for The Baltimore Sun for nearly 12 years.
Before that, she was employed by The Cleveland Plain Dealer, the Long Beach Press-Telegram
and The Philadelphia Inquirer. Elizabeth, 39, is originally from Cleveland. She graduated
with honors from Kent State University with a B.S. in photojournalism. Her primary
motivation for pursuing a career in journalism has been to contribute to the historical
record of the communities that she serves. She lives in Baltimore with her boyfriend,
and loves live music and cooking for friends.
She created a video profile of photographer Jed Kirschbaum, which is unfortunately
no longer available here because of rights issues. (Thanks to Perry Thorsvik for
technical assistance.)
