Fay Lande

Fay Lande, M.F.A., an artist and writer, began her career at The Baltimore Sun in 1993 as a customer service representative. For more than 10 years, she was an editorial assistant in The Sun's Howard County bureau, producing calendars, editing neighborhood columns and occasionally writing. Her stories and comments have appeared in the Howard County edition, on the op-ed page and in the now-defunct Sunday magazine. Her paintings and textiles are included in the collection of The University of Leeds in Leeds, England, and in the Textile Study Room of the Metropolitan Museum.
