Deborah Lakowicz-Dramby

While fulfilling one of her lifelong dreams — to work at The Baltimore Sun — Baltimore native and Towson University graduate Deborah Lakowicz-Dramby wore quite a few hats. She worked in marketing and research, and proudly wrote a few stories published in print and online with the newspaper and various other publications. Co-workers, friends, mentors and experiences at The Sun gave her the confidence and tools to launch her blog, justsayingjs.blogspot.com, which explores the topics closest to her heart: nature, wildlife preservation and food.

She contributed an essay on ‘‘The Serendipity of Journalism.’’
