Chiquita writes, ‘‘A professional singer, poet and writer – in my head, that is (smile). I’ve been a Baltimorean all my life (37 years). To my family and to those at The Baltimore Sun, I am known mostly for my voice, my heart, my smile, and my fun side –all gifts from God.’’
She worked in the Classified Advertising call center from July 1993 until September 2008. From September 2008 until December 2009 she was in the Advertising Business Office.
